Training session: Neurodiversity and impact of homelessness

Training session: Neurodiversity and impact of homelessness

Wednesday, December 2, 2026 - 10:00:00 AM until

Tailored training for neurodiversity and supporting people impacted by homelessness delivered by the Leeds Women's Homelessness and Housing Frontline Network.

Join Creased Puddle, specialists in neurodiversity, for an interactive training session exploring the relationship between neurodiversity and homelessness, with a particular focus on women's experiences.

The session will look at the challenges neurodivergent women may face when accessing housing and support services, how homelessness can impact neurodivergent people, and practical ways frontline workers can provide more inclusive, effective support.

This is a valuable opportunity for practitioners working with women experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity to develop their understanding, build confidence, and learn from experts in the field.

Basis Yorkshire facilitate the Leeds Women’s Homelessness and Housing Frontline Network. The network brings together frontline workers, lived experience representatives, voluntary sector organisations, statutory services and decision-makers to improve responses to women's homelessness across Leeds and the wider region. You can register to their e-news to be kept up dated on future networking and training events from the Leeds Women’s Homelessness and Housing Frontline Network here.
