If you work on the frontline of homelessness in Coventry and the Midlands, the Coventry Frontline Network is here to support you. We hold a regular forum for people in the sector to meet and connect, talk about what you're seeing, and share resources.

We hope you can join us on 2nd April!

The Hall at ACC (previously JCT), 7 Lamb Street in Coventry will be available from 12.30pm, with the agenda starting at 1pm.

Agenda

  • 12.30pm - welcome refreshments
  • 1pm - Frontline Network overview and introductions
  • Group discussion - Supported Exempt Accommodation - what should support look like?
  • Your updates
  • Feedback and next steps
  • Networking

Group discussion topic:

A government consultation is running on implementing measures set out in the Supported Housing (Regulatory Oversight) Act 2023.

One question asked is "What would you define as ‘support’ and ‘supervision’ for the purposes of Housing Benefit?"

We would like to hear your views on what support should look like in Supported Exempt Accommodation so that it helps people resettle after experiencing homelessness. Views from homelessness staff, housing providers and support workers all welcome.

The room will be available until 3.30pm if you want to stay and talk with other attendees after the main agenda. Light refreshments will be provided.

Please get in touch on frontlinenetwork@coventrycab.org.uk if you have any questions about the event.

The St Martin’s Frontline Network supports workers across the UK from the public, statutory and voluntary sectors who work on the frontline with people experiencing homelessness. The network is free to join, and we offer training, funding and other resources for frontline workers.
