The Frontline Network are delighted to offer this half-day, online No Recourse to Public Funds training session delivered by JustRight Scotland.
Our Outsourced Training offers free training sessions for frontline workers to develop knowledge and skills to support people experiencing homelessness.
Training themes are identified through Frontline Network feedback loops, including from our annual conference, annual frontline worker survey and on-going events. This comes directly from staff working in the voluntary, statutory and public sectors, across the UK. We aim to always be led by the voices of frontline workers, picking up on insights into the most pressing needs and challenges faced by you and the people you support.
Outline
This training course will look at support options for clients in the Scotland with NRPF. The session will look at:
- Overview of the immigration rules in the UK and different visa routes (noting rights and entitlements and potential routes to settlement)
- Definition of NRPF and how the condition can be lifted
- Support available to NRPF individuals and families, focusing on statutory obligations for local authorities
Who is this training for?
This course is designed for all frontline staff, team leaders, service management and relevant support staff who work in substance use, mental health, housing/homelessness, outreach, support and care services and all other related fields.
We are only able to offer this training opportunity exclusively to frontline workers in the UK who are supporting people experiencing homelessness. If you do not meet this criteria, you will not be able to join this session.
As per the subject of this session, we strongly advise only frontline workers in Scotland to attend this session.
