Plymouth Frontline Network: The PIP Assessment

Thursday, October 14, 2021

Earlier this year Plymouth Frontline Network were lucky to be joined by 2 of the DWP staff who work in the Disability Advocacy Team.  We were given an overview of what support they offer & there was interest in their more in depth training.

We have been able to organise 2 dates for further online training.  The second is a longer, more in depth session around the completion of a PIP assessment.  The Assessment Provider will be joining us for a 3 hour session, which includes how to navigate the medical assessment – what the AP needs to progress a PIP claim further.  Also, what a GP can & needs to provide to support a claim.

  • Thursday 14th October – The PIP Assessment 10.00 – 13.00

Please email jane.cookson@pathdevon.org if you are interested in this PIP training - no later than Friday 1st October.  I will then send you the link that you will need to RSVP to so that DAT can see the overall numbers expected on the day

You can find details of the first training session on Access To Work Benefits here
