New Report on Global Homelessness and Climate Change

New Report on Global Homelessness and Climate Change

New Report on Global Homelessness and Climate Change

Tuesday, October 6, 2026

Depaul International have published their latest report, On the Frontline of the Climate Crisis: The Case for Action on Global Homelessness, which takes a global perspective on the impact of climate change and housing insecure communities.

The report explores the link between climate change and homelessness, showing how environmental pressures can make life even harder for people without secure accommodation. It considers shortcomings in current responses and argues for better protection, funding and policies that address housing insecurity alongside climate risks.

You can also watch  webinar, Climate-resilient cities for everyone: homelessness, housing and climate justice, discussing the themes within the report.
