Frontline Network Wales: Mid and West Wales
Welcome back to the Frontline Network Wales regional meet-ups!
After a short break, the Frontline Network Wales regional meet-ups are back! This round will cover a wide range of topics.
Firstly, we would like to update you on the Welsh Government’s task and finish groups responses to the feedback you provided regarding pay and conditions in the sector and the new proposed outcomes framework in the last two rounds of regional meet-ups in December 2021 and February 2022.
Secondly, we would like to have a short chat about how the increased cost of living is affecting yourselves and the people you support.
Lastly, we would like to briefly discuss the future of the network and some proposals on how it could be run in the future.
Some of the questions we would like to ask at the meet-up are:
- How is the increased cost of living affecting you and your ability to do your job?
- Is the increased cost of energy, among other things, pushing the people you support into debt?
- Is there enough support in place to help yourself and the people you support to face the increased cost of living?
- Would you want these regional meet-ups to be held in person, to continue online, or a hybrid option?
- What kind of events and topics would you like to see covered in future Frontline Network Wales regional meet-ups?
These meet-ups will be informal chats over Microsoft Teams with other frontline workers and staff from Cymorth Cymru. All conversations will be confidential and we aim to create an open and welcoming environment.
Please note: These meetings are specifically for frontline staff, not managers. We want to create a space for frontline staff to be able to speak openly and honestly about their views and experiences - and we ask that managers respect this and do not attend.
Please register below and encourage your frontline colleagues to join!
