How can services best support lgbtq+ young people? Coming out, or being outed as LGBTQ+, can lead to young people being made homeless. Once homeless, LGBTQ+ young people are more likely to face violence and discrimination than young people who aren’t LGBTQ+.

This session will have a presentation from AKT who support lgbtq+ young people aged 16-25 in the UK who are facing or experiencing homelessness or living in a hostile environment and will be presenting about how to best support lgbtq+ young people. They have recently released a report that explores lqbtq+ youth homelessness which can be viewed here
