Housing First is increasingly being used in the UK, how can it be adapted to support young people?
In 2017 Rock Trust launched the first ever Housing First for Youth project in the UK. After an initial 2 year pilot they are continuing to deliver this vital project in partnership with Almond Housing Association and West Lothian Council in West Lothian, and in Edinburgh as part of the Housing First Consortium. Through being the first UK charity to pilot this project we have built up further evidence of the success of the Housing First model in a youth context.
Gary Neil who is the Assistant Director at Rock Trust will be talking about how they have adapted Housing First for young people, what works and what are the challenges.
This event will be held on Zoom.
