Guidance on how to support vulnerable people during the heatwave.
Heatwave Plan for England 2022
For all services supporting rough sleepers:
- Review the Level 3 ‘Heatwave action’ guidance on Page 23
- Note the High-risk groups on page 24 and assess any clients who have these vulnerabilities
Beat the Heat: Staying safe in hot weather
- For outdoor settings, see the section 'Keep well'
- For indoor settings, see the section 'Find somewhere cool'
- All settings, see the section: 'Watch out'
Cool Spaces https://apps.london.gov.uk/cool-spaces/
In London, the Mayor has made ‘Cool Spaces’ available to Londoners when temperatures are excessively high. Cool Spaces are areas where Londoners can take respite on hot days. Both Indoor and Outdoor Cool Spaces are available from 1 June to 15 September 2022.
