Climate change means that we are experiencing increasingly severe and extreme weather throughout the year. This change means that homelessness services need to be prepared to adapt their provision, to ensure people sleeping rough are safeguarded.
This webinar will:
- Provide an overview of London's guidance on 'Protecting People Sleeping Rough During Hot Weather'
- Provide learning from Lambeth's outreach team on how they supported people sleeping rough in hot weather
- Explore the psychological impacts of extreme weather on people experiencing homelessness and staff working in the sector
- Examine the Museum of Homelessness' research into climate change and homelessness.
The webinar will also provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions to the speakers.
This session is facilitated by Homeless Link.
