Are you a frontline worker who supports people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness? Do you want to learn more about the experiences of women affected by severe and multiple disadvantage, and how services can best support this group? Then join us for this online learning event with Professor Sarah Johnsen!

Earlier this year, the latest report in the influential ‘Hard Edges’ series led by Heriot-Watt University was published. One of the most in-depth and comprehensive report of its kind, it focuses on women’s overlapping experiences of homelessness, substance use and involvement with the criminal justice system.

We are excited to be joined by lead author of the report, Professor Sarah Johnsen, previously at Hariot-Watt University and now Professor of Homelessness and Inclusion Health at the University of Edinburgh, who will share findings and recommendations from the study.

The event will be interactive, with the opportunity to ask questions about the research  and breakout discussions with other attendees to share learning, good practice and challenges when it comes to supporting women affected by severe and multiple disadvantage.

Sign up today for an opportunity to learn and network!

NB: The event will take place on Microsoft Teams. You will receive an event link and joining instructions closer to the date.

The Scottish Frontline Network is facilitated by Cyrenians who are a partner of St Martin's Frontline Network. The Scottish Frontline Network supports those working on the frontline in Scotland with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
