Homeless Link: Transatlantic Practice Exchange 2018

Wednesday, December 13, 2017
Homeless Link's Transatlantic Practice Exchange is an exciting opportunity for frontline homelessness staff to spend a fortnight in the United States, exploring different practice topics and sharing this learning on their return.
In 2018, 5 participants from the UK will complete funded placements, and services here will volunteer to host 5 people from the US.
In addition to sharing new approaches to ending homelessness, the Exchange aims to develop future leaders. Participants work for homelessness charities at senior support worker/junior manager or similar level and can be based in any UK country. The aim is to involve people who would not normally get the opportunity to study and travel as part of their job.
You don't need academic qualifications or research experience to apply - this project is about changing frontline practice, so Homeless Link are looking for skills and commitment as a practitioner, and support from your organisation to turn learning into practice.
Follow the link to find out more about the Transatlantic Policy Exchange and to apply.
The deadline for applications is 9am on Tuesday 19 December 2017.
