The VRF helps people experiencing homelessness through small, quick grants of up to £500 that prevent eviction or help with accessing accommodation.
We responded to an unprecedented year by consulting with frontline workers across the UK and launching two emergency funds to address the changing needs of those experiencing homelessness. Under these funds we were able to provide grants for basic essentials and overcoming barriers to support in addition to accessing accommodation and preventing eviction.
Over the course of the year we gave away £2.8 million and helped 11,684 people.
Our Impact Report illustrates where our grants went, the regional distribution, who our beneficiaries were and what we will focus on looking forward.
