This is a Pan-London Migrant Homelessness Frontline Network event.
The Home Office intends to phase out physical immigration documents and transition to a system of online immigration documents by the end of 2024.
To date there has been very little engagement with stakeholders and scant details about how the system will operate in practice and how concerns about digital documents will be addressed.
This event will bring together stakeholders from a range of different sectors to increase awareness of the changes, to highlight areas of concern and potential impact on certain groups, and to discuss an appropriate response to the Home Office.
We will hear from The 3 Million about their experiences of the existing digital system for those with status through the EUSS and the issues encountered.
We welcome participants across all sectors to this event.
