About this Event
You are warmly invited to attend the next Colchester Community of Practice event.
This Community of Practice is a space for people who support people who are homeless or rough sleeping in the Colchester area. It is a space to share good practice, develop positive working relationships and learn from each other.
This event will focus on mental Health and Homelessness and explore what resources are available locally and how these are evolving, what the gaps and barriers to accessing mental health support for people who are homeless are and how as a group we can seek solutions to overcoming these.
George Davidson the Clinical Manager from the NE Specialist Psychosis & Specialist Mental Health Team will be present to answer questions and update us on current resources and local developments.
If you would like to talk about a specific area of your work related to mental health, that you are struggling with, or present a case study of where you or your team have been successful in supporting a service user to access support with their mental health, please let me know in advance so that we can reserve space in the agenda for this.
The purpose of a Community of Practice is to:
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and social learning between practitioners
• Provide a safe venue for people to listen, reflect and receive feedback
• Allow people to hear about new evidence learning and practice
• Try out and discuss changes that encourage innovation
• Harness the collective expertise to drive real, actionable solutions
• Improve networking across the sector and with other related sectors
There is no charge to attend this event, but places are limited so please RSVP as soon as possible.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided, if you have any dietary requirements please state these at the time of booking.
To attend this event, please register here.
