  • Rent free weeks

    AIM:

The idea is to allow new residents, who sign up to a property, some rent free weeks.

    DETAILS:

The idea is to allow new residents, who sign up to a property, some rent free weeks. The rent will then be spread over 11 months instead of 12 months. This will help residents when they move to be able to have money for essentials. It will mean they can manage their finances better, knowing there is a month where they will have more disposable income. They can chose the month they want off.

(Lifeskills Youth Worker ), from Blackpool This sounds like a great idea, we often have clients on benefits who need to pay the money they would usually use for food towards their first months rent and fees. This leaves them short of money until their next payment, and we often give out food parcels to new tenants.
