Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) Workshop - East London
DAHA - Policy and Procedures Workshop
2pm-4.45pm
Willow House, Walthamstow, London, E17 4UH
The Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance’s (DAHA) mission is to improve the housing sector’s response to domestic abuse through the introduction and adoption of accreditation standards, which are recognised as good practice by the Home Office and Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. The standards consist of 8 priority areas including policy & procedure, case management, risk management, partnership working, perpetrator management, equality & diversity, staff training and publicity & awareness.
With funding from London Councils, we’re delivering free workshops in November and December, which is open to all social housing providers working across London. This will include an introduction to DAHA’s accreditation process and focus on the policy and procedure standard, looking at examples of good practice and ideas for implementation.
