Homelessness and Multiple Disadvantage Support Group (H&MDSG)
Homelessness and Multiple Disadvantage Support Group (H&MDSG)
Homelessness and Multiple Disadvantage Support Group (H&MDSG)
Wednesday, July 28, 2021
When - Wednesday 28th July 3-4:30pm
Where - Online (MS Teams)
To attend, or if you have any queries, please email: donna.willison@wearestreetlife.org
If you work in homelessness, or associated services, we would like welcome you to our second bi-monthly Blackpool H&MDSG.
The purpose of this group is to:-
- Provide an operational focus for agencies in Blackpool who provide support to those experiencing homelessness and/or multiple disadvantage.
- Facilitate an open forum to share information, ideas and good practice in relation to new legislation, new initiatives, problem solving, or any other relevant issues.
- Promote networking opportunities and foster good will.
- Identify gaps in service and work in partnership to resolve these.
- Ensure the collective voice of smaller grass roots organisations are heard.
- Enable issues from the group to be fed into the Multiple Disadvantage Strategic Board (formerly Blackpool Fulfilling Lives Legacy Board) which also meets bimonthly. This will allow issues to be discussed at strategic level and to ensure connection between policy and what is happening on the frontline.
If you would like to attend, please email donna.willison@wearestreetlife.org, additionally including if you would like to share a brief service update or any information that you feel may be relevant to the group. We will then circulate an agenda and Teams link prior to the meeting.
We look forward to seeing you there!
