Homeless Link

9.30am - 1pm

Henry Moore Institute, 74 The Headrow, Leeds, LS1 3AH

Please join Homeless Link and colleagues from across the frontline in Yorkshire & Humber for the next Community of Practice. In this session, we will be focusing on public engagement with efforts to end homelessness.

A consequence of increase visibility of homelessness has been rising public and political interest. Support and energy from new quarters to help ensure everyone has a place to call home is welcome, but harnessing it to have the biggest impact and ensure efforts complement rather than contradict work already going on is not simple.

With local efforts to do this cropping up across Yorkshire, this session will be a chance to share learning and develop ideas to take back to our own areas.

We will be joined by Patrick Duce of Homeless Link, who will share insights from research recently completed into 'Diverted Giving Schemes'. There will also be plenty of opporutnity to discuss your own initiatives, challenges and ideas - alongside the customary free lunch!

The purpose of the Community of Practice is to:

Create solutions for local issues

Share skills, knowledge and experience

Empower each other to bring about change

Enhance cross sector knowledge

There is no charge to attend this event due to funding, but places are limited to please RSVP as soon as possible. Please register here.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
