Monday, February 26, 2018

Monday 26 February 2018

1pm to 4pm

Praxis Community Projects, Pott Street, Bethnal Green, London E2 OEF

Praxis are hosting this event as an opportunity to find out what tools and resources are available for working with homeless migrants, and to consider what more is needed. Participants will share knowledge of useful resources and work together to generate ideas for new tools to help them in their work.

The event will include a presentation by Michael Tarnoky from the Public Interest Law Unit at Lambeth Law Centre about the recent successful challenge to the government policy of removing street homeless EEA nationals. This is an example of frontline agencies encountering homeless migrants working with partners to challenge discriminatory policy.
