Refugee Networking Workshop Morning 

Wednesday 24 January 2018

9.30am registration, 10am to 1pm event 

Hayashen (Centre for Armenian Information and Advice), 15a Mill Road, Acton W3 8JF (nearest tube: Acton Town)

For all West London and London voluntary, community and statutory sector agencies with an interest in making contacts and networking to help us all respond more effectively to refugees and asylum seekers (and refused asylum seekers) who are struggling with homelessness and destitution.

Discussion themes will include:

- Home and homelessness

- Mental and emotional health

- Health access

- Accommodation options after S4 is refused

- the 28 days after "leave" and risk of destitution

- Community Care assessments, and

- Sources of support.

This workshop will follow up on and continue discussions started up over the past 2 years at a couple of similar events. It will be a chance to form new links, share questions, news, ideas and expertise.
