Event Details:
This one day training course is delivered by Homeless Link to help frontline workers from across the homelessness sector develop their understanding of non-EEA migrant destitution and homelessness.

This course is delivered at a subsidised rate as part of the Strategic Alliance on Migrant Destitution, which is a unique cross sector project working across the refugee/migrant and homelessness sector.

Who is this course for?

This one day training course is aimed at frontline staff and senior project workers from homelessness and housing organisations. It is aimed at services that come into contact with non-EEA rough sleepers during their work, such as outreach services, hospital discharge teams, day centres, street pastors, housing associations, night shelter volunteers and LA housing options staff.
 
This course will:

By the end of the day attendees will be able to:
• Describe the context of migrant homelessness in the UK
• Identify destitute migrants accessing their service and where to signpost them to
• Explain the rights and entitlements of destitute migrants
• Explain what regulated immigration advice is and how it effects destitute migrants
• Describe models of accommodation and support for non-EEA migrants with NRPF across England.
