NACCOM 2017 National Conference

Friday, September 15, 2017

Friday 15 September 2017

9.30am to 5.30pm

Bridge Centre, Birches Head Road, Stoke-on-Trent ST2 8DD

NACCOM is a national network to prevent destitution amongst refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants. It does this by resourcing and supporting their membership of 40+ accommodation providers across the UK, and by using their collective voice to raise awareness and call for change.

This is the NACCOM 2017 National Conference, followed by the Annual General Meeting.

The day will include workshops on a range of topics, a key note speech by Estelle Worthington from Asylum Matters, and lots of networking opportunities and stalls.

Delegates will be able to pick up a free copy of the Hosting Toolkit on the day, a resource launched this summer in partnership with Homeless Link.

Delegates will also hear about the impact and change the network has seen over the last year with the launch of the 2016-17 annual report.

The National Conference is open to all member organisations, as well as non-member organisations, and individuals from across the UK who are interested in, and supportive of, the sector.

To cover costs, there is a charge of £20 per person for members, £25 for non-members, and £10 for unwaged people. A limited number of free spaces are also available for people with no recourse to public funds.

You can find full details about the event, and register for the event, on the Eventbrite website.
