  • We have laid out our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice separately on the site and you will be asked to agree to these if you would like to register as a user of the Frontline Network. The main purpose of these policies is to ensure that we are able to provide a forum which offers frontline workers a supportive and considerate environment, and allows us to take action if anyone breaches these terms.

The forum is provided as part of the Frontline Network site to further the vision of building links between frontline workers and facilitating the sharing of knowledge in order to improve outcomes for homeless and vulnerably housed people. If your registration is approved, your use of the forum is on the understanding that anything you post is in the context of supporting frontline workers working with people who are homeless or vulnerably housed.

Lastly, we hope that the forum is useful and that it is able to support the work that you do! As a new venture, we are open to suggestions of what you think works and what you think doesn’t – so please feel free to email us any comments at frontline@stmartinscharity.org.uk

A lithuanian has been evidenced rough sleeping. He has been released from hospital following heart surgery with no where to go. He has been turned down for ESA due to having not worked enough. He cannot claim JSA as he is unable to work at the moment. He needs to recover from his operation. Does anyone know what to we could do? We want to get him into accommodation, but cannot whilst he has no ability to pay. There is a growing problem around this in plymouth. Anyone else experiencing similar?

Hi all, Many thanks to everyone for taking the time and effort to come to London last week for our first Quarterly Partners meeting. We all really enjoyed meeting with you and feel that this is a really exciting time for the development of our Partner community! Further to our meeting, I have created this closed group for all of our key Primary and Secondary contacts, to enable conversations to continue between the quarterly meetings and share information. I will be uploading the documents from the meeting, but our...

I have a couple who are fleeing violence from a drug gang. The police were involved but the couple did not to want to make a statement because they were to scared. The county they came from gave them a travel warrant and advised them to come to the county I work in. They were placed in bed and breakfast for one night only. They are now being told that although they are fleeing this violent situation, they are not vulnerable enough to make them priority need. I have asked that this is put in writing so we can seek further advice from Shelter. I am waiting for the contact from the first...
